Bhaya skipafélagið gerir út þrjár skútur sem fara um Halongflóa.
Frá Hanoi, höfuðborg Víetnam, er um 3ja klst akstur að höfninni í Halong. Þetta svæði tilheyrir stærsta kóralrifi sem vita er að um í heiminum, en fyrir þúsundum ára reis landið úr sjó og kóralarnir breyttust í kalksteinskletta. Þetta er sama rifið og finnst í Huilin í Kína, Krabi og Khao Sok í Taílandi og víðar. Einkennin eru þau sömu allstaðar. Tignarlegar hvítar kalksteinseyjur rísa hátt úr hafi með gróðursillum og krýndar grænum hatti. Hvergi er þetta þó fegurra en í Halongflóa.
